Tonight’s Nordic Walk took us from Hayes Paddock to the Hamilton Gardens. We Nordic Walked on the river path. As the Surrealist Garden officially opened the day before, we went to explore prior heading back towards Hamilton East.
The surrealist garden is a lovely addition.
Beautiful sunlight tonight during our Nordic Walk at the Taitua Arboretum.
The arboretum has a collection of mature trees covering 20 hectares of open pasture, lakes and woodland gardens which are linked by a network of meandering walking paths. With great views and wonderful bird life, the arboretum is ideal for a Nordic Walk.
We Nordic Walked tonight on the Western Trail Rail starting at Seddon Street.
The Western Rail Trail Path is a 2.7km off-road shared path connecting Hamilton’s southwestern suburbs with the CBD. The route travels the rail corridor from the CBD, to Ward Park, around the west of lake Rotoroa to Kahikatea Drive. It is a great addition to the city.
Discover Hamilton’s Pathways is full on and this Tuesday evening Nordic Walk was fantastic.
Winksmith Nordic Walking offers instruction tailored for your needs. This Saturday morning was perfect for Sharon to be introduced to the sport and learn the basics.
